Very
well, good evening. In
truth I am paying a visit here and at the same time inspecting
and reviewing the small centers or affiliates of CEFLURIS that
have been around a while. And, and as I always do this review
in various places, even foreign ones, I always like to say the
truth that I see and the truth that I aim for. We yearn for a
pure and sound truth.
In
the course of my review, I have observed in all the centers that
are established, a warning is necessary. I've been giving this
warning, and I will reaffirm it: it takes care for a person to
begin and to observe the good continuance of that which he really
started in the Doctrine. Then, with this care we will thus have
power to cure a series of extravangant illnesses created by the
ego. Even in spirituality, in this spiritual school, we are plagued
by all kinds of things in our thoughts, many times by intuitions
that seem like the power of wisdom that will take us beyond steps,
which are really the humble stride of the apprentice in a school
in which the professor is owner of all, is God.
Thus
I would like, possibly, to find a way to explicate a heedfulness
for all persons who would be responsible, be it for a prayer,
or for a Center of 1000 or 2000 people, it matters not the size,
the heedfulness for people not to lose themselves on the way,
before reaching the objective, reaching the goal, because it is
a satanic temptation that one can see a lot in tbe Bible. Those
who read the Bible know this, and what's more, this brings us
a sign of the end of times, a sign in spiritual study of an awakening
to a new stage of work. So the warning is that in all families,
disunity seeks to destroy. The majority of orphans today, and
most of the suffering of poverty and difficulty today, is the
action of Satan within the families. Whether they be a couple
without children, or a couple with many children, If the people
haven't had the happiness to have faith and courage and the protection
to free themselves from the effect that this power has, that is
to separate father from mother, and separate the son from the
father, set one against another. This is commonly seen in marriages
today, 90% of which dissolve. The theme, the evidences, and even
the teaching of disunion to the children makes them continue in
this condition of not being able to have peace not even united,
not even with their families. This happens in that moment in which
the families of the Universal Family begin to have a perception
of the awakening of the true union in God.
Thus,
as soon as one founds a church or a center, it starts with one
person or two. This is a joy, this is a force, this is a power.
Soon, more and more come, and the same rhythm is strengthened,
it grows. At a certain point down the road, there begins to enter
a divergence between the group that committed itself to fulfilling
the law of the Doctrine, and not the law of the thought of each
one. It is necessary to feel this quite well, since it's necessary,
when forming a Directorate, that people be very clear about fulfilling
the law of the Docrine and not the law of each one.
Because
when three people want to each follow their own path, each one
will take their path, and that's what's happening in the Brazilian
Regions and the Foreign Regions today.
I
may say this: satan is reaping many people from the Doctrine because
of the great ego people have, the pride, the suspiciousness, the
failure of commitment, the failure of punctuality, because God
is not a joke. If we would like to make groups to walk crooked,
we should make a tourism group, like any other business, so we
can screw around and get arrested and then it comes out in the
paper that it was corrupt, that is was this or that.
However,
with the Doctrine, it is different. The Justice of the Doctrine
is Divine. Therefore, one cannot say that a person is right if
they are not right; that a group is united, if it is not united.
Therefore, by itself it clearly presents itself that it is not
united. Not being united, it has no force. Now, this is not the
fault of the goodwill of the spirit of each to unite, because
this is the will of God in each one of us. It is the fault of
the actions of various other worldly senses, egoist, powerful,
that work their way into the Directorate, in the united groups,
and make the fabric come undone. This is very bad for CEFLURIS
because it diminishes the capacity for union that CEFLURIS brings,
it diminishes the capacity of people to transmit, and expand the
truth of Sebastião Mota de Melo, who is responsible for the entity
that is today doctrinating in various places. Therefore, I want
to give this warning here because there are already several centers
and it may be that each one would like to speak briefly about
their center, not only of that which is nice and pretty, and which
we see, but also of that which they themselves know is not nice
and pretty, and which cannot be covered because one sees the ugly
as well. Well, may all this bring about this force and this understanding,
which I desire, through this, my work here, my sacrifice, and
the sacrifice of all my brothers, to help us strengthen this chain
so that satan does not have more force than God. And likewise,
let us not give energy to make that negative current become stronger
within a sector of the church than the positive current. Because,
when there is disunion, the negative current is receiving more
force than the positive current. And I come here to fortify the
current of the Doctrine, the current of spiritual education. One
very fine point that deserves our attention, our care, because
often disagreeable things happen that are not to the liking, nor
are the will of the members themselves, but rather from the negative
force that comes and puts suspicion in a person- be it from jealousy,
from envy, be it from the "bad news mail"-that they are a divine
being prepared, very well prepared, to test whether the group
is firm with God, whether it is firm within itself or not.
There
are other motives that are thoughts, but which are very strong,
and can lead a group to spend ten years and never become cohesive,
never collect its people, and in turn, never be able to do, at
their center, the work of curing at the level expected by Mestre
Irineu and Sebastião Mota de Melo.
Thus
this force of mine that I have been giving, be it in this Regional
that I have travelled just now, or in other Regionals where I
have been explaining this, giving it as an alert to the brothers
and sisters, to the fighters, to the warriors of this Light-this
care is calculated toward this negative front that is destroying
our group. It has been destroying groups I have helped for four
years, groups that bring together 50 or 60 fardados, who sing
all the hymnals, observe all the calendars, and today are suffering
the need of even one drink of Daime. Only now is it being recognized
that all that was the result of a lack of care when they are in
the cradle, when the Doctrine is budding. So, it is necessary
to be careful because when it is budding, many demands of envy,
of jealousy and other things that bring one down, attack. Therefore,
I want to warn our Brazilian group, as well as those who are helping
overseas, against making the Doctrine of Santo Daime points of
contention over spirituality, nor grounds for power struggles.
Because the power of matter goes only to the level that it can
bear. And this means that matter is humble. If matter wants to
be more than it is, then the ego is dominating. And this is no
place for us to place our faith, because all matter is transitory.
It thinks that it will take over the whole world, but it's already
gone, there's already another president taking over Brazil, taking
over whichever sector for things to be able to continue.
All
the brothers and sisters who are founding Santo Daime centers,
under the responsibility of CEFLURIS, which is Sebastião Mota
de Melo, I represent and clarify, I authorize, that they not let
satan have more power than Santo Daime itself within their throne,
which is you yourself. Try to discipline all your egos, to discipline
all your desires to try and have an apparatus that will fulfill
the desires of God, the disires of this Doctrine, the desires
of Santo Daime, which are to do good, not to do evil.
Thus,
with this force in our thought, I believe that all the centers
will be able to reach better understanding with their partners,
they will be better able to pardon some thing, some difference
that exists, and possibly introduce themselves into the official
calendar of CEFLURIS, which is the trabalhos: from the first page,
which is the Oration, second are the Concentrations, third are
the Trabalhos de Cura, and finally, the entire book, or the Official
Hymnals. And further: all centers that are firm and strong, will
be able to have voluntary trabalhos for the betterment of the
group, which may be a Trabalho de Cura, a trabalho of betterment,
which we have been doing through the improvement and the comprehension
of groups with our communitarian work in the forest. Each group
that is firm, which holds onto the hand of the Mestre grows, creates
support and gives support to the communities from which will come
the continuation of this Eternal Daime, the name of the Project
that I applied many years ago to this Divine vehicle that is Eternal
Daime. For all to have comprehension of who eternalizes, it is
us, if we work in this communitarian line of Padrinho Sebastião
Mota, which is being at peace with oneself, with one's house,
with one's community, and with the duties of planting and feitio
and betterment of the Doctrine.
This
holds for all those here, for all in Brazil and for the entire
World.
It
is like a prayer one does for others, for the whole World and
for oneself. And this prayer is contained in this tea. This tea
is this Doctrine. Thus we cannot invent, we cannot invent, we
cannot run over, we also cannot brake too much, nor retreat.
We
must proceed with calm and comprehension, with a force to maintain
union among the brothers and sisters, avoiding the entrance of
negativity, because if it enters it is for a study, so the person
will have, in the end, a positive result, and not lose one's chance,
because if the result is not positive, it will certainly be negative.
Someone
will leave there feeling rage toward the Doctrine, someone will
leave suspicious of the wife of another, and this comes to destroy.
I say this because, from the first people my dad gathered at Colônia
5000, we went through a work of this kind for us to be able to
understand what we are going to do, and if we do it, to learn.
Many people did not triumph. And those who did, almost all have
scars because it is hard and difficult to maintain union.
But
it is possible through this care, through this enlargement, through
this calm. We must be calm with the brothers and sisters. Each
center has its would-be Councillors, would-be Directors, and they
form the Directorate in such a way that it can always have one
more, and two more, and three more, and be careful here, because
I am explainin because it has been like this: eight become seven,
then six, thenfour, even four spread out and each one wants to
construct a church…and there resounds a thing that I have said
to my brothers and sisters: who speaks of CEFLURIS, speaks of
Padrinho Sebastião Mota de Melo. CEFLURIS, the more it takes pity,
the more it wears itself out, the more it, through these confusions,
through this lack of spiritual education of people, gains a reputation
of being a bad entity, or being an entity that does not take account,
of being an entity that is this and that, because a person who
doesn't know often uses the entity to speak grandiosely, to speak
vainly or to say things that he does not fulfill.
With
this care, let us speak of healing, of betterment, of who doesn't
know the Hymns of Mestre Irineu because he hasn't connected, understood,
he who doesn't know the Hymns of Padrinho Sebastião because he
is not connecting, and connect with this. This way, soon more
people are knowing, soon the person has better faith, and everything
moves forward. With this care, we go, to accompany the Regional
centers from here, so that soon we will have the pleasure and
this great force, that thus we saw a pretty thing, in every center
I went there was a pretty thing, thus it is worthwhile to try
to gather the brothers and sisters together, to fulfill the Divine
Promise, to complete the Divine Mission. It is not because he
comes, he will be the slave of the owner of the house, or will
be tossed alongside the highway, no. It is all being able to feel
equal, and to feel the force of the will to speak and vibrate,
not only at the point he is at, but at all points (centers).
And
with this we can enter into this undersanding that he who doesn't
know the root, possibly doesn't know the stalk. It is much more
difficult to enter the stems and come out through the flowers,
and fell the fruit to be able to be born again.
Thus,
I advise my brothers and sisters of the possibility of better
exchange of our understandings, to know that the mission of CEFLURIS
in Amazônia is to root this Doctrine evermore so that it can withstand
the swaying of the stalk and branches, which are all of these
Communities of brothers and sisters, and always to put themselves
on the level of Sebastião Mota de Melo of Céu do Mapiá, and of
Céu do Juruá, because I am expanding his model.
This
is a warning to my brothers and sisters, centers that are here,
for those who would follow CEFLURIS, which I am, this entity of
Padrinho Sebastião, that so much have people revolted here and
there, thinking that they are even bigger than the whole world
(I don't know why), but it is because of these happenings in the
centers, besides which, we have the authorities that these are
other lines, which we have to keep showing our spiritual mettle,
without messing up. Because, what is more, they have the capacity
to complicate things, and bring difficulty down on God, many times
by the apparatuses that are outfitting this Divine Force. Well,
the more we avoid being collected like a swindler by the authorities,
being collected like a thief or a person without integrity, the
more you are respecting CEFLURIS, this spiritualist entity of
Mestre Raimundo Irineu Serra and of Padrinho Sebastião Mota de
Melo, and of ours.
This
is for those who want. Those who don't want, also, CEFLURIS is
very clear in my person, for I am a brother even to those who
do not want. He can come to me just the same an say I can't, I
only know how to go fighting, making a scene, very well, then,
keep being my brother, now the entity needs to heal, the entity
needs to have a center of responsibility, be they two people,
be it one, it doesn't take many people for us to be sincere, I
think that it only takes one to be sincere. If I am sincere, and
you're sincere, we've already united, and from there things can
go. Thus, I say this because, on the contrary, things don't go.
On the contrary, as I saw in churches of ours of 120 people fardados,
the Padrinho there blessing, the nicest shine, and a Hinário with
great force, and then something goes wrong, and they end up in
a rage at the Padrinho and it all ends in nothing…it ends in nothing,
or a big chunk of people wanting one thing, another wanting something
else, and giving trouble to me, giving trouble to CEFLURIS, many
people also wanting to get Daime from CEFLURIS without wanting
to fulfill the orders, without wanting to following the regulations,
and I am caught in the middle, with the burden of having to be
a brother when people aren't respecting the law of the Hinários.
Up
to now, I have been working, thanks to God that I haven't yet
said no to anyone in respect to the good ritual functioning of
Santo Daime. But it may come to pass that I cannot continue consenting
to CEFLURIS certain things that many afiliates have already invented.
There are afiliates to whom I gave the first Daime and taught
all the Hinários, taught to make Daime, then when they learned
everything, can I separate from you, friend?
Of
course, I wasn't born together, nor with the belly button stuck
together…and the person simply swipes the dagger and takes off,
and when the Daime runs out will the Padrinho come around? How
can it be? I think that however much justice there is, the closer
it comes to the time when the line is drawn: who wants, fine,
who doesn't want, get out, to be able, for the person to feel
the truth, to feel the difficulty, not to think everything is
easy, that everything is in jest. So in this sense, my brothers
and sisters, I am not asserting or trying to guess anything, I
am speaking about everything that CEFLURIS has been finding in
the Regionals of Rio de Janeiro, Regionals of São Paulo, of the
South, and Overseas. What I say here, I say wherever I go.
Let
us take heed, because I am gathering, I am noting the people that
I am gathering, I am noting the groups, the afiliates, and I need
more firmness in all the groups, in all the afiliates, for us
to speak out loud and clear to our governments, to the despots
of the world, because if it is not with much truth, with all truth,
many or all can shout the truth, but the world won't mend. The
world swings back and forth, and it will continue to do so.
So,
I want to say this, for the good of our universal family of Santo
Daime: may all the centers beware of the correio de má notícia
[editor's note: this phrase, attributed
to Mestre Raimundo Irineu Serra, literally means "bad news postal
service," and refers to the process of speaking ill of others],
of jealousy, pretension, egotism, withdrawal, bad relations with
CEFLURIS, you understand, so that you won't go in reverse, or
even that you come to a time such that it is not possible for
a person to be linked to our movement.
In
this good sense of finding, on the next visit, this house much
more beautiful, that other one shining, another one growing well,
that one over there…you understand, because if I find less, in
my account and on my scale, it will fall to the side of less because
I am weighing with the scale of justice. I cannot…It is not politics,
it is not the truth of the world, it is the truth of God.
My
brothers and sisters, what most demonstrates the truth and what
gives greatest satisfaction to Sebastião Mota de Melo and to CEFLURIS,
which is the spiritualist entity representing him here, is a Trabalho
well done of Cura, and people saying, I was cured of cancer, I
was cured of this, I was cured of that, I saw the truth, I changed,
I gave up drugs, that's it.
And
this is done with faith, with courage, with calm and hope in the
Mestre.
There
is one more thing: the Mestre has it. If you know how to seek
right, you will expand in this pleasure, but never in this pride.
Pride is the owner of the world, but it only cripples. If pride
were as pride wants to be, greater than God, the tranca-rua
[translator's note: this is the name given to a disruptive
spirits like the one channeled by an evil medium who entered the
Daimista community under Sebastião Mota de Melo and contested
his authority. It literally means "blocks-the-road." Read more
in Alex Polari de Alverga's Forest of Visions] would
not all be defective. And look at what trouble they cause. Even
in spiritual hospitals, if a tranca-rua uncoils himself, there
needs to be a doctor of the caliber of Sebastião Mota de Melo,
a doctor and a medium. Otherwise, the two die together and he
can't bring health, the respite that entity needs to be able to
shine again. Let everyone be strong and every spirit will be strong.
From there comes our line of having no enemies. In our Doctrine,
we have opened a broad band of charity so that we have no enemies.
The
enemy who comes wanting to destroy, we have the spiritual rearguard,
so that before he destroys, he destroys himself, he collapses
by himself.
Since
we are dealing with spiritual labors, one should not look only
to the material, one should not heed only the material meetings.
One must be alert to the demands that come from the side of the
spirits, from the side of those mocking spirits, that come from
the side ofthose who don't want to renounce their business, and
have the force to channel these beings and to show them the other
side that they don't know, since they live in darkness on the
earth and die in that same darkness of the ego.
Well,
I say that it will be better when I can, thus, fitting in this
warning, even if it is in a few words, but that it may be equally
a prayer of CEFLURIS, and say: be careful, my brothers and sisters,
not to confuse CEFLURIS with disharmony, discord and confusion.
Free of this confusion, there will be no lack of Daime on this
table, there will be no lack of people to gather, no lack of hinários
to practice, there will be no lack of wisdom. We must learn and
better ourselves for a lesson much greater than what is being
seen today, which is a lesson that Padrinho Sebastião Mota gave
notice of, and he is present and may gather his people at any
time "and on this day many people will cry because there are many
of them who don't know how to love" [in
Portuguese: "e nesse dia muita gente vai chorar porque tem muitos
deles que não sabem amar"]
The
world is like that - soon comes the time for it to take us awayl,
and it may be that there are people who say Padrinho, I drank
Daime for 50 years, and the answer will still be, following that
of Christ: I know thee not, you took Daime but you were always
fighting, you did not live in my presence, you did not live doing
as I ordered - isn't it? Thus I say that we ought to be careful.
I say it not because I am free, no, but because I am walking in
this sea of darkness, as Mestre Irineu Serra said.
Even
if we are born mature, there are so many things in illusion there,
pretty and delicious, that sometimes entangle a person. From one
wanting to mix Daime with this or that, with that other force,
with this or that other, inventing things without having conviction
of what one is doing, without having real knowledge of what one
is doing. Or showing something ugly to the authorities. If a person
mixes a lot and doesn't admit to it, ends up not admitting to
it, he is making a blemish on the line of the Doctrine. Thus I
give here this warning for us to experiment with caution.
You
may get to know, it is good to get to know, but to think that
you already know, to take a poison, you will end up dying of the
poison. Thus, the mixture of drugs, even Dona Jurema
[translator's note: Vinho da Jurema is a psychoactive brew made
from Mimosa hostilis and used in northeastern Brazil],
whatever it may be. A person must know quite well which is his
Lord, because the sheep know the voice of their Shepherd
[In Portuguese: as ovelhas conhecem a voz do seu Pastor].
So, if Daime is a Lord and the Shepherd of our sheep, we should
hear what the Doctrine has been saying and do as Padrinho Sebastião
indicated.
My
brothers and sister, without union, things don't move forward,
they don't have much force, and CEFLURIS continues to feel the
necessity of the brothers and sisters knowing more, taking more,
so we will be able to, very soon, see an eternal fount of Santo
Daime, an eternal fount of health, an eternal fount of healing,
and develop mediumship to the point of knowing other types of
illness lodged in the back of the caverns, all kinds of ugly things
that come seven on top of eight and nine more behind…all this
is on earth as it is in heaven. If the junk is already forming
there, spiritually, when people die, they are in the same confusion,
and the Spiritual Trabalhos feel this in the current. If the apparatuses
do not clean themselves well, we will feel uneasy throughout the
Trabalho, every Trabalho we will feel heavy, not feel joy in singing,
you understand, weight even in spirituality there, there's always
an emptiness in the heart, or perhaps in the clavicle, or there
in the lung, the enemy arrives there and sits in a corner, or
even worse if he's on the throne. The worst thing that I went
through in the teachings of Saint Michael is, is to see if it
is Jesus who is on the throne or if it is a Herod. Now, will we
wait for this Jesus on a throne of stone there, which we will
never find? Unless we make our church within ourselves, the center
of our church, those who lead toward joy, toward union, toward
betterment, and always there looking for success, taking away
ignorance, which is a devourer, isn't it? Even heal oneself and
keep healing the brothers and sisters, and keep working that Directorate
of the spiritual family, from there, to have force to stop whoever
it may be. Because illnesses of many types are there, waiting
for the power of so many powerful people there are in the world
who don't heal.
Who
invents illnesses? The deeds of each one and the spiritual state
of each one. And if there is no enlightenment, there will be an
extermination in the material world. Because the individual himself
comes and puts AIDS in a person, puts a cancer there, puts satan
there, puts whatever he wants.
If
a person is in the Doctrine only for power, and only wants to
be big, doesn't prepare himself humbly with his guide and doesn't
know himself, doesn't know his guide, it is difficult. But this
is our school, this is our apprenticeship. Taking Daime, singing
the Hinos, waiting for the opportunities the Mestre speaks of,
you keep seeing, you keep comprehending, you keep receiving force,
and along comes the component of the Doctrine, along comes the
component of this work. Until one has no more doubt between himself
and his group, nor between his group and CEFLURIS. The same thought,
the same will, of the spiritual expansion of Raimundo Irineu Serra
and Sebastião Mota de Melo, and contribute to this through one's
healthy mind, one's spiritual guide, one's Guardian Angel, and
all that is safety in life.
Well,
I hope that this illness is cut out at the root, and that the
centers which, until today have not grown in two, three years,
in six months prosper, to give more animation and more hope to
those struggling, struggling without doubt, to take this Doctrine
forward.
All
the centers that are here, I believe that they are occupying themselves
with a liter of Daime or ocuppying CEFLURIS or someone from CEFLURIS
to receive a cup of Daime, it is because he wanted. If he wanted,
he must want more, because it is no joke. If in debt, if it doesn't
work out, throw the rest there in the corner, that's fine, no
one will charge me for it. Because it is not I who charge, but
rather the Mestre, justice, and death. Death does not bargain.
And I say this: who mistrusts CEFLURIS, mistrusts Sebastião Mota
himself, because he mistrusts everything he doesn't know. Now,
to doubt is common. We are here to doubt, for sure. If you do
not want to be caught in doubt, you will try to get things right.
Doubt and fear are the two entities that have sufficient force
to cause any incarnated person difficulty.
Later
comes a series of things that disturb the good growth of the brotherhood.
Later come the things that will make up the balms that come to
help, to heal, which is the force of the will of each to better
himself, to learn the Doctine. There, at last, comes the glory
that is the capacity for us to be happy, firm and strong, singing
this Doctrine, without wondering which is the Master who is ordering.
Certainly, the Master is God and everything is in his hands. Thus
we go, building our spiritual current of Santo Daime, and many
things will happen.
More
I will not speak, because you will only understand this better
in the continuation. Therefore, it is not necessary to speak much.
Speaking of my communities in Juruá, they are open. With this
connection that we have, we may be at the complete disposal of
anyone that may wish to connect with the thing, to know the thing,
you understand, and to improve oneself more, Mapiá is open.
